The owner and chief operator of Northbay Building Company is Joe Butler. Joe has had over 30 years of experience in the house renovation and construction business. He started in the field at the age of 15, working part time while going to high school and college. Joe attended Worcester State College where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Management to prepare him for his future entrepreneurship. He worked in all phases of construction. By the age of 22 he co-founded and managed Salisbury Construction in Worcester, MA. Within two years he started another company, Pinecrest Builders, which he operated for 10 years. In 1993, Joe decided to branch into the hotel industry. He began managing the Surf & Sand motel in South Yarmouth, MA. Joe took care of all daily operations and necessary renovations. He managed this motel for over 7 years. During this time he was also asked to develop the Riverview Resort, located in South Yarmouth, MA as well. What started out as a 80 unit motel, was transformed into a time share condominium complex with studio, one and two bedroom apartments. Joe designed and renovated the complex, and also ran all daily operations, marketing, and sales of the units. In 1999, Riverview won an award for his top notch renovations from ARDA (American Resort Development Association). Joe stayed on to manage this resort until 2003. In 2001, Joe decided to get back into residential building and remodeling. He founded Northbay Enterprises on Cape Cod. Today, this company does work all over Cape Cod and the Worcester area for both residential and commercial clients.

Lisa Butler grew up on this wonderful island called Cape Cod. For over 20 years she has been involved in property management, house renovation, construction, and real estate. Whether it be as a buyer, a seller, landlord, or an investor, she has learned so much about the ins and outs of construction and real estate. "My professional goal is to help others, utilizing the skills I've learned in this industry, to make their projects go as smoothly as possible. I know personally how you rely on your project manager to guide you in the many decisions that must be made in order to ensure a smooth process." For the past couple of years Lisa has added helping homeowners get their houses ready to put on the market through strategic renovations to increase the homes market value to the services that are offered.

We contacted Lisa to help us get our home ready for the market. She was actually referred to us by a friend who Lisa had helped previously. We gave her a budget and she went through and targeted the areas that needed help. She was attentive and easy to reach. The work was done on time and we put our house on the market with confidence. We have known Joe Butler for the past 20 years. First as a neighbor and then as a contractor that has helped us on many projects through the years. Joe and his crew have painted the inside of my house, installed crown molding, install skylights, fixed roof leaks, installed insulation in our basement, attic and outside when he stripped the shingles and put on new ones, make sure to use PFC around all her doors and windows. He also built a shed to an existing one, designed an outdoor seating area with a covering in the backyard. Finally, he removed and installed a bay window, hung front and back doors, built an indoor stuff for easy access from one room to another. By far the best project he did in the one we enjoy every day, was the enclosure of the three season back porch. You might see his mark is in every corner of our house. We are more than pleased with his workmanship and his fair prices. We have a lot of love and appreciation for this fine contractor.
